Will these work with my eLearning Development software?
There are 2 types of downloads from the Builder: Flash and HTML 5.
Downloaded files are a single .swf Flash file. They will work with any tool that imports Flash. You may have specific settings in your software that you’d need to adjust to ensure proper playback.
We offer 2 versions of flash when you download an interaction: Actionscript 2 and 3. You need to determine which version works best with your tool. Review our information below and also your tool’s documentation.
When you download an HTML 5 file you get a single zip file. Authoring tools import/use HTML 5 zips files in various ways. Here are some options:
- User clicks a link in the course to open the game/interaction in a separate browser window (Put the downloaded zip files on a server and use that URL.)
- Use an iFrame or WebObject in the authoring tool to display the game/interaction. (Put the downloaded zip files on a server and use that URL.)
- Put the downloaded zip directly into an LMS.
- Place the files on a server and view the game/interaction on a website.
Will these work on mobile devices?
We have been creating HTML 5 versions of our games and interactions. There is a icon on each file thumbnail that indicates whether the HTML 5 version is live. Each month we launch updated HTLM 5 versions.
Will these work in Articulate Presenter (’05 and ’09)?
Yes but only Flash Actionscript 2 works. Click the Flash Movie button and choose these settings:

Note: When you insert flash files into Articulate and then close and reopen the PowerPoint file, typically the flash file will appear as a large white box. Don’t worry the file is still there. For some reason this is just how flash files appear in Articulate when you re-open the PPT.
